I am a nurse with over 30 years experience in home health care, community and school nursing and am also a certified Jin Shin Jyutsu practitioner. I graduated with a B.S. in nursing from the University of Pittsburgh and have worked as a nurse in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Massachusetts. A holistic approach has always been important in my nursing practice so I had been curious about some of the complementary and alternative therapies that have been integrated into Western medicine. I have been a student of Jin Shin Jyutsu since 2005 and became certified in 2008. In Jin Shin Jyutsu I have found another way to help my clients with stresses, illnesses, pain issues, lifestyle and attitudes through this gentle healing touch for body-mind-spirit. I see it is a wonderful extension of the nursing profession which I have always loved.

Recently I completed a graduate nursing course in Palliative and End of Life Nursing Care and understand how Jin Shin Jyutsu would be so beneficial to patients facing life-threatening illnesses.

I am credentialed by the Integrative Therapies Committee to provide Jin Shin Jyutsu to patients at Emerson Hospital in Concord, MA.
